XEOMIN VS. BOTOX:
Which do I choose?

At Columbine Aesthetics, we offer both Xeomin and Dysport to help you achieve the youthful appearance you desire. Both products contain botulinum toxin type A, a neurotoxin that works to block neuromuscular actions at the muscle where it is injected, causing that muscle to relax. This in turn reduces the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles in the skin that lies on the relaxed muscle.

What's the difference between Xeomin and Botox?

Xeomin, sometimes referred to as a “puretox” due to its highly purified nature, is a great choice for those seeking a subtle, natural-looking result. The double purification process used to synthesize Xeomin is designed to deliver the toxin without any protein additives. This purified structure may help prevent antibody resistance, a growing problem that has been seen with botulinum toxin injections administered over time.  Xeomin can be shipped at room temperature as well, versus requiring refrigeration like Botox, making its delivery process more Earth friendly.

Does Xeomin last longer than Botox? 

Studies have shown both products to effectively last the same amount of time, up to 4-6 months in some people. This is variable based on dosing and an individual's metabolism.
